Use of Timber and Tula property

• Timber and Tula staff will put away tables, chairs, and any items belonging to our venue.

• Once your event is finished we ask that you clear tables of all personal items and trash.

• All personal items need to be removed from Timber and Tula property by the end of your event period.

• All trash needs to be bagged and taken out to the dumpster. Trash bags are provided.

• A cleaning fee will be deducted from the security deposit if the venue is not left in the same condition that it was found.

• You are not allowed to attach anything to the walls with tacks, nails, or sticky tack without permission.

• Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the barn or farmhouse. There is a designated smoking area.

• The use of confetti and glitter is prohibited anywhere on the property. The use of bubbles is prohibited inside the building. Fake flower petals are prohibited from use if thrown for the bride to walk down the aisle.

• Candles may be used if they are completely inside a container. No taper candles or open flames without a container that will contain the candle wax.

• Timber and Tula is pet friendly venue, however, it is the pet owners responsibly to watch and care of the animal(s) and their safety, as well as the safely of guests and visitors around the animal(s). We are not responsible for the pets or their behavior.

• Fireworks are prohibited on Timber and Tula property other than sparklers used for “send-offs”. Sparklers must be held at least 25 feet away from the building.

• Timber and Tula reserves the right to obtain and use photographs for promotional advertising.

• Engagement photography sessions may be done at Timber and Tula for no charge if your wedding and reception is booked at Timber and Tula. You will need to reserve a time and date for the session so that it does not interfere with another event on our property.

• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

• Please lock all vehicles and keep your belongings supervised. Timber and Tula are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

• All alcohol must be served from the bar area by a bartender. No one under the age of 21 can be served alcohol. No kegs are allowed on the premises at all. Beer, wine, champagne, and mixed drinks can be served in an open bar or cash bar. Timber and Tula operates without a liquor license so if a client wants to offer a cash bar their bartenders must have a liquor license and letter of permission to serve.

• Timber and Tula staff reserves the right to oversee alcohol consumption and escort any disruptive guests off of the premises.

• Timber and Tula and its staff assumes no responsibility for alcohol consumption or designated driver arrangements. The contractual party is solely responsible for assuring the safety of their intoxicated guests upon departure.

• Timber and Tula and its staff are not responsible for injury, property damage, or loss occurring before, during, or after the event.

• The venue is not liable for events beyond its control (e.g., natural disasters, power outages, government restrictions) that prevent the event from taking place.

• Timber and Tula is a drug free property.

• Clients, vendors, and guests must comply with all venue policies, local laws, and safety rules.

•Timber and Tula reserves the right to remove any person or terminate an event for dangerous, illegal, or disruptive behavior.

Our Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy : 

We know wedding planning can come with unexpected twists, and we want to be transparent about how cancellations work.

Retainer: Your initial payment is non-refundable and secures your date exclusively for you.

If you cancel more than 12 months before your wedding: You’ll receive a refund of any payments made beyond your retainer.

If you cancel 6–12 months before your wedding: You’ll recieve a 50% refund of your total payments made beyond your retainer

If you cancel less than 6 months before your wedding: No refund will be issued.

Acts beyond our control: If something major (like government restrictions, or a natural disaster) prevents your wedding from happening, we’ll work with you to reschedule within 12 months at no extra cost.
